Number of chest panes
Ok.
So I've my main account. 4 panes + birthday. 1 for having the game, 1 for having prophecies, 1 for factions, 1 for nightfall, 1 for birthday. I recently bought a second account (after the birthday promotion expired). Factions collector edition. 2 panes. Today I bought platinum edition. Bam 4 panes!!!!! And not the birthday one. Not that I'm complaining, but wasn't I supposed to have 3 only? Or should my main account have 5+ birthday one? :P Care to explain plz? Ty. EDIT: I'm not expecting a bday one for second account. Just wasn't expecting getting one from Eotn. Last edited by Improvavel; Jul 22, 2009 at 05:40 PM // 17:40.. |

BIrthday one was not automatic. It was a free gift, but you had to go through the motions of buying a pane from NCSoft and enter the code so that the total purchase cost was zero.
That offer expired on June 30th.

U get the standard of 1 storage pane for your account and 1 storage pane unlocked for each campaign or expansion bought, but this can never be more then 4 .
So the 4 panes on your secondary account are: 1. The standard one for your account 2. One Pane for factions 3. One for Prophecies 4. One for Eotn |

You get one storage pane "free" regardless of what you own, plus one for every game. There is a limit though; this total cannot exceed four. So somebody who owns two campaigns and EotN will have four panes, as will a player who bought everything.
The anniversary storage is separate and in addition to these. edit: yeah, what they said. |

Ok, Ty. I thought EotN didn't qualify for a pane. |

You get one pane for each of following:
1. Purchase Prophecies 2. Purchase Factions 3. Purchase Nightfall 4. Just because No extra for EotN and, as I said above, the birthday one is no longer available.

Exactly. You have one... plus one for every campaign you own (thus you automatically get 2).

Not true. It just seems that way because you bought the games in the order they were released.

Edit: This is what I found on the wiki. Trivia Until April 5th 2007, there was only one storage tab available for the Vault box Eye of the North came out late august 07, so doesn't that mean that you get extra storage even without GW:EN? Again, I could be wrong.....somehow. Edit again: Wiki is incorrect , since I just opened up an account that only has prophecies, and it has two storage tabs.

The extra storage panes were released as a "bonus" sometime with Nightfall. They specifically made it so that you'd get one per campaign plus the original in order to reward everybody. If they had just made it so that each campaign = one pane, then the people who only had one game would get nothing. Instead, they gave everybody an additional pane per game on TOP OF the one that people had to begin with. I did buy Eye of the North until several months after it was out, and I had all 4 panes before that.
As for what October Jade is saying... it may be possible, but I've never heard that before. |

I refer to what I said earlier:
